Love at first BITE!

This might be the funniest thing EVER! This was Halle in June 2007, stung by a bee under the eye, obviously allergic! We made her wear sunglasses where ever we went.Sept 2007, stung AGAIN under the eye! Again we made her wear sunglasses where ever we went.Third times a charm! August 2008, mosquito bite on the eyelid.....where's the sunglasses! Today Halle woke up to another mosquito bite, same eye, same place! I noticed it first and she said "NOT AGAIN.... GO GET THE GLASSES!"

She also had about 5 bites on each arm. She told me the bugs just LOVE the way she taste's!

AND THE BIGGEST LOSER IS...........

HELEN! She lost 140 pounds and now weighs 117, I love this show!

Presley made cheerleader last week, and I'm SO glad it's over! Waiting for your number to be called....And finally #28 was called!

Notice Presley's tears? She had a hard time being happy when their was so many of her friends who were sad! Believe me I was holding back the tears too, and reminded her friends that didn't make it that I was never a Cheerleader and I'm just fine. I'm SO glad I'm not in Jr.High!

Right after tryouts, we were off to St. George for a dance competition at Dixie college.

You know you have a teenager when your sent to Target to buy tanning oil with zero SPF!

We came home to an EARLY 6am wake up call from the Cheerleaders to take Presley to breakfast

TOO FUNNY! She could not even open her eye's.

Greg came home the other night and could not have been more thrilled to hear the basement full of cheerleaders, dancing and cheering as loud as they could! He was reminded of his childhood with his three older sister's who were all cheerleaders and replied "SHOOT ME NOW".

The Blessing Dress

Almost 13 years ago, I was given the sweetest blessing dress for Presley to wear on her blessing day. Years later when Halle was blessed I thought it would be neat if she wore the same dress. Last week my neice Liv was blessed and was in the same dress that Halle and Presley wore. I thought this was the cutest picture of them together. I'm not big on traditions, but I think we may have just started one! I wonder who will be next to wear The Blessing Dress?

Spring Break!

Spring Break was very busy this year, which is good cause the kids are usually bored and driving me nuts by the end of it!

Baseball weekend in St.George

Jake's team had their first tournament a few weeks ago in sunny and very warm St.George In between games we visited the wildlife museum and the kids loved it! Presley had to stay home for a dance competition so I wanted to take lots of pics to remind her of what she missed...lets just say she wasn't as impressed of the museum as we were.

And of course our vacation would not be complete without eating out every meal and gaining at least 5 pounds a piece! This was Halle's favorite thing at Texas Road House, mine was the homemade rolls with honey butter and the sweet potato loaded with butter, brown sugar, marshmallows and cinnamon! Oh lets not forget the bread sticks at Pizza factory!
