Together Again.

My Grandma Patricia Eve Williams Holbrook was reunited with the love of her life on Feb 9, 2009. I can only imagine the reunion that took place that night after being apart from each other for almost 5 years. I'm so glad they were able to be together on Valentines Day!Ben Ford Holbrook and Pat Williams met on a rainy day and began what would be a romance that would match no other. they were married on March 22, 1950 and sealed for time and all eternity. 54 years later my grandma would say "he still gives me butterflies when he walks into the room".

Together they raised 9 children, 39 grandchildren and 52 great grand children. they traveled the world, cheered on the UTES, took flying lessons, climbed every pyramid, visited every archaeological zone in Latin America, were rescued by a seaplane north of the Arctic Circle, were caught in the middle of a political assassination in Guatemala, had their boat hit by a whale while fishing off the coast of panama, lived in Ecuador for four years, were caught in a landslide in the Andes mountains, panned for gold, visited the Indians in the amazon and volunteered at schools and orphanages in Ecuador. In between all those amazing adventures she still had time to change diapers, do laundry, prepare meals, chauffeur kids, needlepoint, serving as a guide on Temple Square, skiing, serving on the Women's Endowment Board of Primary Children's Hospital, doing genealogy work, watching hundreds of wrestling matches, track meets, basketball and football games. At Davis high she was called the orange lady because she would bring sliced oranges to every meet.
My Grandma loved life. Her legacy to her family is her love of our lord and savior and her testimony of his everlasting gospel.
Thanks for all the sleepovers, hootenanny's, b-day shopping at ZCMI, sewing lessons, Festival of Trees, X-mas Eve's and Nativity Scenes, bubble baths, manicures, pedicures, banana bread, slip n slides, Chuck a Rama dinners, Lake Powell trips and the best Pickles Ever!

Halle's Dance Recital

Halle had her first dance recital last week and loved every minute of it!
The night of the dress rehearsal she was nervous to get up on the stage, but she did it and I was crossing my fingers for the recital very unsure if she would get up and do it or not. You would think that after watching years of Presley performing it would not be a big deal! She woke up that morning put her costume on and was ready to go, she was more concerned about her hair and make-up and Greg bringing flowers than anything else!waiting to go on (I was still crossing my fingers).... and she did It! I have video and maybe one day if Greg or I can figure out how to put it on here, I will post it.

These pics were after her dress rehearsal, posing like CRAZY so proud of herself for getting up on that big stage!
If only I could get Presley to pose like this for her recital's!

Snowmobiling at Bear Lake!

Last weekend we headed up to Bear Lake for some serious snowmobiling, but it was my mom and dad who ended up with the most crashes this time (right mom)! What are the chances that they would be hit in their car in Logan canyon by a kid on a snowmobile crossing the road, and again on their way home in Logan canyon by a kid with no car insurance! Nothing like coming home with your car completely crashed in on the drivers side and rear! My mom also had a little accident on the snowmobile, luckily her and my dad are still alive!! I'm so mad I didn't get a picture or even better video of that one cause I would of made some serious cash from America's Funniest Home Video's! Let's just say Presley will never ride with her on a snowmobile after seeing this incident!!

Notice who is driving in both pics!

Halle's Christmas Programs

Halle had a Christmas program at dance and at school this year, she was Clara in the Nutcracker for dance...

And Rudolph for school

She was SO excited that Presley could come and watch her!

Ward Nativity Walk

Presley as an Angel, thrilled to see that I brought the camera!

Christmas Day!

Looks like Santa came, he ate all his cookies and drank all his milk!

FYI- if your daughter asks santa for a $80.00 Victoria Secret sweat suit(which santa doesn't even have) don't buy a half the price one from Aeropostale and think she will be happy, SHE WON'T!!!

FYI- enjoy your little one's while their young, and while they don't know the difference between Aeropostale and Victoria Secret!!!

Nothing like christmas crepes!

Halle wanted a Jersey just like the boy's!

Maddie and Presley.
